'Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God'
It is self explanatory. The Puritans had alot of issues when it came to God and his man created. If I were asked to summerize this story from my point of view, I would say "What Religion" more like "Confused Religion". The saint just did whatever it is they wanted to the followers of their word. They really preached that humans should go to hell "quote" fiery pit of HELL! Even through the saints wanted the people to believe they were going to HELL they refused to believe that and ended up gaining total control over the Puritans. I think that the saints were using GOD as a crutch to overrule all of the other people in that time period. Gods grace is meant for all and what they fail to realize is that everybody was born a sinner and if God picks and chooses who goes to hell and who goes to hell them should'nt that protray God as a demon to for not given each person the benefit of the dought to be excepted into heaven, instead of being kicked out and instantly being kicked to HELL.








Of Plymouth Plantation
Jonathan Edward’s sermon did not work. All believed in God deeply. Of Plymouth Plantation explained many situations including the beliefs that people had in God. Soon as the Puritans touched ground they immediatley thanked God. They They thought that is was because they believed in God so much that he led them to the ground safely. The Purtains beliefs about God were very strong and couldn't be changed by the talk of just one man. They were honest believers of God and they live their everyday life according to God.
The way these poeple lived wasn't healthy, they couldn't concentrate because they were to worried about when they were going die and go to HELL. It was like the people were scared to speak for themselves. The repeatly thought that the only way to get in good with God was to be a saint.
